As a long-standing expert in plant engineering and thin-film technology, we offer various types of evaporators for demanding separation tasks.
Application areas of our systems
The diagram on the right illustrates the respective fields of application in evaporation technology.
By selecting or combining the right technologies, GIG Karasek is capable of handling a wide range of diverse substances.
Typical operating parameters:
- Temperature: ≤ 390°C
- Vacuum: ≥ 0,001 mbar abs.
- Feed: 10 kg/h to 15,000 kg/h
- Viscosity: up to 10.000 mPas
(in special cases up to 5.000 Pas) - Performance: ATEX, GMP, API
- Materials: Carbon steel, Hastelloy, titanium, stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4404, 1.4562, 1.4539)

Different types of evaporators and dryers
To optimally adapt our thin-film and short-path evaporators to specific conditions (system, properties of the medium to be processed, application, etc.), we equip our apparatus with various wiping systems.
GIG Karasek offers following evaporator and dryer types:
Thin-film evaporators:

- VISCOFILM for high-viscosity substances
Dryer:
