Aiming at a facilitation of the robust calculation of our horizontal thin-film dryer designs GIG Karasek awards a master thesis:
TESTING
Conduct sludge drying tests in our technical center in Gloggnitz, Lower Austria (about 80 km south of Vienna). The tests will feature different parameters like varied temperatures, feed rates, process pressure and rotor designs to develop a profound basis for slude drying process simulations.
INTERPRETATION
Evaluate and interpret data derived from the tests for creation of a database with key parameters determining the sludge drying process.
DEVELOPMENT
Develop new rotor designs on basis of the achieved testing data to improve existing and envolve new
GIG Karasek design tools.
Our personnel of the technical center and of our process design department will guide and help you to deepen your understanding of thermal separation technologies, both in general applications but also in thin-film drying in particular.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Good knowledge of and interest in termal separation technology
- Hands-on mentality
- Interest in process design

WHAT TO EXPECT
- EUR 884,00 gross per month for 20 hours/week,based on the collective agreement.
